Warm greetings from Africa! Our names are HanByeol and EunJung. We are a Korean family seeking God’s kingdom revealed among Africans. It is a privilege for us to share with you about ourselves.
God has been faithful to guide us to serve among Africans since He called us for lifelong cross-cultural ministry at a Mission Korea conference in 1998. After completion of our undergraduate studies and some work experiences, we departed in 2001 for Canada to get missionary training in our early years of marriage. Three years at a residential training center laid a good foundation for our overseas ministry as we learned to communicate effectively with others from different cultures and languages.
Over our time in different parts of Canada, Daniel (15) and Joshua (12) were born, joining our journey to the nations. We adopted Saebom (4) from Korea in 2018, and we all are now enjoying new family dynamics. We are grateful to grow together as a family in God’s caring grace.
Right now we are in transition as we do research as to where God is calling us and with whom. There are many opportunities and we thank you for your prayers as we seek God and how best to serve Him.
We both hope and trust that God would minister in and through our lives and service in order to transform the local communities in North Africa with Jesus’ loving power.
